From Maiden to Mother

PRE AND POSTNATAL CLASSES

Created for moms to be, prenatal yoga classes teach pregnant women not only about yoga poses (asanas), but also breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation and birthing education.

PRENATAL CLASSES

Techniques obtained in our class will be useful before birth, as well as during labor. These classes will foster a non-judgmental environment and encourage women to find their inner strength while tapping into their natural wisdom. Connect to your body, breath and baby. These classes are created for mom's to be at any stage of pregnancy.  We will work with body awareness, stretching, strengthening and relaxing through various yoga poses.

No previous yoga experience required. 

Helping new moms find a safe and inclusive place to connect to herself again after baby.

POSTNATAL CLASSES

These classes will include safe yoga positions (asanas) for postpartum terms including pelvic health education, as well as other postpartum physical health education. This class is specifically designed to work with diastasis recti and pelvic floor muscles while releasing tension in the body. These classes could be supportive for moms with almost ANY age of child, to be gentle on herself and have some time alone time. No previous yoga experience required. 

 

NOTE: moms should not take up physical activities until they are approved by their doctor.

However, if you are feeling any Postpartum depression and just need somewhere to go please contact me to work out details.

BABY AND ME CLASSES

These classes will include safe yoga positions (asanas) for postpartum terms, specifically designed to work with diastasis recti and pelvic floor muscles while releasing tension in the body. Come meet other new moms in the community while spending time with babe.

No previous yoga experience required. 

Mindful Minis 
8 weeks - crawling

NOTE: moms should not take up physical activities until they are  approved by their doctor. However if you are feeling any Postpartum depression and just need somewhere to go please contact me to work out details.

Mindful Movers

crawling - apx 18 months

NOTE: Because our little movers are quite active the class will include activities to make them feel included and begin to foster yoga in their day too! 
 

All classes can be offered for a private class session or in smaller groups if moms want privacy, specialized times or more one to one health support.

PRIVATE/GROUP CLASSES

Private and group classes are specialized classes for yourself or a small group. Becoming a mother is a very personal transition and if you are needing more one to one support or my class schedules do not work for you please contact me about private bookings. 

Private group classes can be ran up to 5 total and are great for a small group of friends.

Moms Groups Classes can be booked for a group of moms for a one time or ongoing weekly/monthly session.

Classes are small and fill up quickly. Please reserve your sport in advance.
